The Solo Scale:
In a park like Epcot, it’s always near impossible to decide where you’re going to dine. There are festival booths most months of the year, fantastic quick service snacks, and a bevy of easy dining options. On top of that, Epcot has some incredible character dining, fancy dining, and then something in-between at Le Cellier. It’s fancy without totally breaking the bank.
Le Cellier belongs in that last category. It’s great food, but it’s not quite Monsieur Paul or Takumi Tei prices. It’s also got the best steak in Epcot, if you want meat and the festival booths haven’t filled you up. When you’re booking, try and make it for a little later in the night if you can.
For one, it’ll give you a chance to exit the park without too many people so you can truly enjoy Spaceship Earth’s glimmering lights. Yes, you’ll miss fireworks because you’re in a cellar (as the name implies), but you’ll have a relaxing exit from the park. And two, because the restaurant is located in Canada, it can be the reward for your trip around the world if you start in Mexico and end at Le Cellier.
In terms of food, it’s truly hard to go wrong. There’s an amazing amount of choice. When I dined, I had my eye on so many small bites and appetizers that I wound up doing a mix of these rather than the steak (which was also very tempting). The food and the presentation were a cut above most other meals that you might find. If you’re a fan of ice wine, this is the perfect place outside of Niagara-on-the-Lake to indulge in some sweet dessert wines.

In 2025, I returned for a dinner at Le Cellier to find some things had changed. Multiple menu items had shifted, and they had added a lot more tables to the restaurant. In addition, the wait staff was now Canadian again, with my server coming from Vancouver. It was nice to meet a fellow Canadian abroad. Then again, I knew I’d find it here and maybe I was even subconsciously seeking it out.
He confirmed that the majority of visitors were from the US, but that just means they get to enjoy a great steakhouse experience.
On this visit, I started with the famous Cheddar Cheese Soup. This comes with pretzel bread and gets its beer-infused flavour from Moosehead, which isn’t a notable beer, but the flavouring in the soup made it really delicious (and extremely filling).

From there, I ordered the bison strip loin from the butcher’s cuts section of the menu. Everything in this section comes with a side and a sauce included. That makes it a pretty good deal when you consider what you’re getting. I opted for a medium rare with a Chardonnay-Truffle Butter and the mashed potatoes on the side. I ordered a nice red wine with this, which paired nicely with the fattiness of the red meat.

Truly, the meal was fantastic, but after a day of snacking around Epcot, it was a bit too much. In retrospect, I would have given the soup a pass, if only because I’d had it before. The quality of food was amazing, the service was friendly and lovely, and it’s a great dinner option. It does get popular, so if you’re hoping to dine at Le Cellier, you’ll want to make this a priority reservation!
