The Solo Scale:
Want to know where to get the best views of the Bellagio fountain shows? In my opinion, it’s not at street-level. If you’re there at night, it’s still great to immerse yourself in the show if the sidewalk is open. If you really want a view of the show and still get to hear some of the music, then you should head up the Las Vegas Eiffel Tower at the Paris hotel to get an incredible view of the Bellagio show. Another perk of doing this is because you get some distance between you and the booming sound of the pressure from the water cannons. That’s not even mentioning the crowds,
True, it’s not quite the actual Eiffel Tower, but it’s Vegas. Everything is a facsimile of something else. Just like the Venetian mimics Venice with its gondoliers and canals, Paris aims to make you feel like you’re in Europe. That said, the experience does feel strikingly similar to the real Eiffel Tower. They both have a restaurant you can dine at. Plus, they both have incredible views of a city. It’s pretty much the highest point outside of the Stratosphere and even the High Roller doesn’t compare!
To ascend, start by heading into the casino floor to buy your tickets. Once you have those in hand, you head up a landing that brings you to an elevator (just like the real thing!). The elevator only takes about six people at once. If you go at a busier time of day, you may end up waiting. The ticket office for the experience is just under this on the casino floor.
TRIP TIP: Keep in mind that during the afternoon, the fountain shows aren’t quite as regular. If you’re going for that express purpose, check the opening times for the Paris Eiffel Tower experience and the fountain shows.
Once you get your chance in the elevator, you’ll ascend to the viewing deck. This is 46 stories up and has views of the strip (admittedly behind some metal grating). If you’re afraid of heights, there is a little room to stay away from the edge. However, it’s not that spacious up there, so keep that in mind if you have a phobia. Alongside the heights, the elevator has glass walls, so you’ll be watching as you ascend those 46 stories.
Once you’re up at the top, you can spend time wandering around to get different views out through both ways of the Strip, alongside some great views of the High Roller and the Sphere. The best views are truly when the neon lights are still coming out, so I highly recommend heading up around sunset (if you don’t have conflicting reservations). Don’t forget when you’re ready to head down that it’s only six people in the elevator, so budget in some time to make your descent (just like the real Eiffel Tower in France!)
