Disney Dining at Narcoossee’s: 2026 Dinner Review

The Solo Scale:

For any food-forward tourist who’s been to Disney World, inevitably you have a few favourite restaurants that drift to the top of your list. When it comes to sit-down restaurants, one of the surefire bets that I can confidently recommend is Narcoossee’s. During my 2025 trip, I dined there and everything was fantastic, so I had high hopes for my return in 2026. It can be a bit of a difficult get when it comes to reservations, so if you have your sights set on Narcoossee’s, you should make sure you prioritize it when making your dining reservations (or be willing to dine at the bar solo or eat at a much later time).

The waiting area just inside the restaurant.

To reach the restaurant, you first arrive at the Grand Floridian and then head out toward the water. Narcoossee’s is situated right on the water, which makes for great out-the-window views.

Narcoossee’s also does something that not all Disney restaurants do and that’s changing up the menu for the season. During the winter/spring season of 2026, there were a few new options on the menu. However, they know their audience. The guest favourites (like lobster bisque) and the innovative (like the seafood charcuterie) were still on the menu.

I dined previously here in winter of 2025 and enjoyed everything I ate. This time, I aimed to try mostly new items. Luckily, the menu was updated enough to give me some great options.

To begin, as they did last time, you get bread to start. It’s still a crumbly bread, but they’ve improved it by miles by serving it in a deeper basket. This helped to keep the table a lot tidier. The bread is amazing, but the butter is the true star, especially with the large sugar granules speckled on top. I did end up getting the lobster bisque again. It was tasty, however my lobster was a touch overcooked this time around. Still, the bisque component was heavenly and still worth every bite.

I also got the romaine salad because it sounded really interesting, but it wound up being average. It was a bit too lemony and didn’t have enough balance to appreciate the other elements (like the cured egg yolk, which drew me to the dish). I wouldn’t order this again as it didn’t really satiate me as a salad or as something else. It was mostly a cobbled-together plate of ingredients which were individually good, but not together. Unfortunately, it also didn’t work as a caesar salad deconstruction.

However, while the appetizers were just okay, the main was a knockout star. This dish was absolutely delicious. This is the fig glazed pork chop, which was a new item on the menu. I paired a malbec, which went well as the dryness of the wine cut the richness of the dish. The pork chop came with rich butternut squash blended to perfection, had actual figs on it, and came with nicely crunchy broccolini. Plus, the cook on the pork chop itself was incredible. The best part was the fig reduction on top, which made it super jammy and delicious. I could have had two of these instead of any appetizers, it was so good.

As with last time, none of the desserts really spoke to me, so I gave them a skip. That may change on a future trip, but with the proximity to other monorail restaurants and Magic Kingdom itself, there are a lot of better options for sweet treats. I especially recommend hopping into the park for a Sunshine Tree Terrace option, if you have park hopper and the flexibility to head in.

Overall, Narcoossee’s isn’t a cheap restaurant. It’s one of the higher-priced restaurants on property, but the quality of the service and the food has kept up with it. As a result, you won’t feel like you spent a lot of money for nothing in return. Both meals I’ve had at Narcoossee’s have been memorable and incredibly delicious (especially the mains), which is always enough to draw me back when there’s another menu change to see what fantastic new items they’ve got on the go.
