My Top Hollywood Studios Snacks as a solo traveller

If you’re at Hollywood Studios, what are you going to eat? There’s plenty of options, but if you’re looking for a quick bite and not a sit-down meal, what are the three things that won’t disappoint you, no matter what. So what are some of the best bites you can have at this park?

Some of these may be old favourites. Some may be limited time offers. None of them will disappoint, especially if your hunger is spiking and you need something.

These are my current top three, but they may change as time goes on. What’s your favourite quick bite at Hollywood Studios that has never let you down? Leave a comment and share!

Woody’s Lunchbox Tart

If you’re someone who always wants to have a sweet treat, then there’s two best bites in Hollywood Studios I highly recommend. There’s two because there’s a caveat. The first option is a Lunchbox Tart from Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land.

What is a lunch box tart? If you’ve ever had a pastry strudel, it’s like that, except it’s not warmed up. If you’ve only experienced pop tarts, you can see the comparison, but it’s made with a more buttery pastry. With that said, I’ve found that the generic Raspberry Tart is a letdown. The limited edition options are usually far and above better. If you see the Sweet Potato Tart on the menu, then that’s absolutely your best bite option for a dessert.

If they don’t have some of these fantastic seasonal options then I highly recommend the Jack’s Num Num Cookie that you can get at a cart on your way to Toy Story Land from the main area.

Baseline Taphouse Pretzel

One of the best ways to decompress at Hollywood Studios is relaxing with a great glass of beer (if you’re over 21) and a salty snack to go with it. Luckily, Baseline Taphouse has both of those things. Even better, the pretzel is elevated by the fact that it comes with an incredible set of dips — mustard and cheese.

The beer on tap isn’t necessarily the snack here, but it’s worth mentioning. It’s refreshing and a really great pair, especially when you get to decompress. However, the best bite in question is no doubt the pretzel.

You can find Baseline Taphouse on your way to Galaxy’s Edge (on Grand Avenue, near where Muppets used to be).

Funnel Cake

If you’re a funnel cake lover, then this park is absolutely the best traditional funnel cape option when it comes to a best bite. In my opinion, though Disney World has funnel cakes available at multiple locations, the one you get at Epic Eats is far and above the best of the funnel cakes. That has a lot to do with it being more traditional with freshly dispensed soft serve ice cream. Yes, it’s a traditional funnel cake. So why is it a best bite?

Mainly because it’s hard to go wrong with perfection. Fresh funnel cake is one of the best snacks around, especially at a theme park.

Overall, there’s a lot of food at any Disney park. While Hollywood Studios is possibly the bottom rung on the food destination ladder, that doesn’t mean that it’s without its own bright spots. These are just a few of the bites that I’ve found reliably delicious over the years. So if you’re on the lookout for something for your day (sweet or savoury), these are a good place to start!
