You’re going to Magic Kingdom, you want a quick bite that isn’t too heavy, but is still delicious. Are these the ultimate top three? Maybe not to everyone, but for me, they’re my go-to snacks when I’m in the Magic Kingdom and I’m tired of the cinnamon rolls, churros, popcorn, and pretzels.
Let’s get started and see if your tastes match up with mine!
Orange Swirl at Sunshine Tree Terrace
If you go solo to Magic Kingdom as I’ve started to do a lot, you begin to make rituals. One of those for me involves having an Orange Swirl at Sunshine Tree Terrace. The frozen orange treat is basically like creamy sweet frozen orange juice. Plus, it gets mixed in with vanilla soft serve. It’s a generous portion and it’s perfect for those hot Florida days.
There’s a lot of bench seating in the area that you can sit. It’s a great treat while people watching people going up and down Swiss Family Robinson, or just taking in Adventureland vibes in general.
Plus, it’s so tasty. The combination of tart and sweet makes the orange swirl one of my best bites. It’s something that is a must have on every Disney trip.
Hushpuppies at Columbia Harbour House
You know an item is good when there’s an uproar when it goes away. In this case, the item in question is my second choice of best bite, which is the hushpuppies from Columbia Harbour House. Personally, I think they deserve to be on this list because they’re a perfect snack portion of food, give you the savoury kick you need to fill your stomach, and offer you access to the respite of the restaurants’ second floor.
It’s a great bite because it’s not a full meal, but still tastes incredible. Grab them with a cool drink and head up to the second floor to people watch and get some energy back!
Spring Rolls at the Adventureland Snack Cart
The flavours of these spring rolls will vary. My favourite flavour is no longer with us. That’s kind of a theme with my tasted. If you ever see the Chicken Cordon Bleu on the menu, that’s the one I think is best.
Still, the rest are no slouches. They earn their best bite title from their taste, size, and value. They’re filling, but not huge, so they’re a great snack option that leaves you with room for more. I absolutely recommend these as a fantastic stop-gap or a meal for light eaters in a park that could probably use some better cuisine.
